As the first Head of the Daimler Mobility Blockchain Factory I lead an interdisciplinary and cross-regional team whose mission is to leverage Blockchain Technology to accelerate and stimulate our Transformation to a fully digitized, integrated and efficient financial and mobility services Provider. The Blockchain Factory applies Digital Identity Management (DID), Blockckchain Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) as well as IoT technology to hyperautomate asset finance and mobility. The Mobility Blockchain Platform (MBP) is our core software platform for the Future of Mobility. The MBP is implemented through smart contracts for the Ethereum EVM and leverages Decentralized identifiers (DID) for identity verification, verification of claims, KYC and consent agreements. The Distributed Ledger (DLT) Financial Engine is realized in Corda. With a view to the future we will apply tokenization to seamless, digital finance and funding. Software is eating the world and we should sit at the head of the table! I am a Technology and Transformation Manager who defines and executes the strategies how to apply software and network technologies to business needs and customer demands. As Head of The Blockchain Factory I apply this to FinTech, Blockchain and Mobility. Expert and evangelist for technology and applications of Blockchain for finance and mobility. Developed blueprint for first Fintech application in DFS China and built a car sharing and rental platform from scratch. Many years of experience applying software and technology to business needs. Previously in charge of all IT and product development for DFS Mobility in China including interim CTO of car2go China, where I lead the development of the core software platform at the core of car2go and DFS Mobility projects in China. Previously managed and owned operational and transactional systems for Financing and Leasing. Fully involved with Business Units across the full contract lifecycle and associated business processes. Including but not limited to Contract Management (CMS), Procurement process, Accounting and Controlling (SAP), Wholesale Credit (WFS) and Audit (WIAS) systems. Effective leader with high focus on coaching and empowering people, while ensuring and demanding continuous delivery of high quality and full transparency.
