A fierce cybersecurity advocate passionate about self-sovereign identity, my interest was sparked almost a decade ago while researching digital privacy, early blockchain and distributed ledger technologies along with threat intelligence cybersecurity solutions. Today, I'm CEO of Indicio.tech, where we help clients build interoperable digital identity solutions and remake the online world. We launched Indicio to help enterprises, nonpofits, governments, and organizations of all sizes reimagine identity for a better online world—and to help them build that world through identity solutions customers and users will value. Before Indicio, I served as Executive Director/CEO of the Sovrin Foundation, a decentralized, global public utility for self-sovereign identity. Self-sovereign means a lifetime portable identity for any person, organization, or thing. As a startup, enterprise and nonprofit executive, I’ve led strategies that elevate unknowns into respected industry players, driven nonprofit turnaround and secured funding, and built and led teams whose compelling stories garnered notable media attention. I maintain a global network of influence acquired during D.C.-based analyst relations and journalism tenures at Neustar, a Big Four consulting firm, the National Press Foundation, Fox News, PBS NewsHour, NPR and Public Radio International.
