Food is so intrinsic to our development and growth and fundamental to our survival. It is also the social glue that brings us, our friends and family together. Yet a third of all food produced in the world is wasted... doesn't sound right does it, so lets do something about it! The financial, social and environmental impacts of food waste are massive. In fact, fighting food waste is the number #1 solution to curb the effects of climate change and given that we are in climate emergency the answer really is that straight forward. As a co-founder Too Good To Go I have had the pleasure to watch it grow from a bunch of passionate entrepreneurs wanting to make a difference to a team of 750+ talented Waste Warriors with a strong vision and mission for the planet. We want to inspire and empower everyone to take action against food waste. Our app for surplus food has now saved millions of meals from going to waste with more than 60,000+ supermarkets, restaurants, bakeries, hotels and other food businesses fighting food waste with us across 15 countries. I am highly driven by purpose and impact but always looking at how to grow and develop whilst supporting those around me. Open to new connections and collaborations to help us achieve a healthier food system and ultimately planet.
