When I'm not producing unique videos, articles and game experiences, I'm a Master of Accounting who passed the CPA Common Final Exam (CFE) in 2018! At KPMG Vancouver, I've combined my personal interests in games and music to create engaging content and experiences. For our largest ever internal conference, Inspire 2020, I managed the first use of the KPMG Events mobile app and went above and beyond by gamifying the entire experience. I also bring my love of music to produce content that stands out from a corporate highlight reel. This wide array of interests and skills are a result of time management, goal setting and work ethic that I have developed by excelling at the workplace and in academics. The best example of this was when I wrote the 3 day CFE exam and released my band's new album in front of over 100 people, all in the same week. One day after that, I packed up my things to move to the west coast to start my current challenge with KPMG Vancouver, having completed my management of the album crowdfunding campaign that raised thousands of dollars and hundreds of pieces of merchandise. My biggest assets have always been a drive for results and a mentality to have fun while getting there. Whether it's a 14 page research paper about R&D tax credits or organizing a 3 hour art show and concert with dozens of performers from 7 different cities, if it is an impressive feat, you'll find me at its finish line.
