Over the past 20 years, Julien has developed an insightful understanding of emerging market dynamics and cultural influences. With a particular focus in developing countries in Asia, Africa, South America, Julien has specifically been involved in the field of supply chain, manufacturing, logistics, sourcing, and retail sectors and in specific technology applications in these industries. Julien’s journey spans over 4 continents: Europe were he started his career in the aero and auto industry, in Africa coordinating development programs around distribution, in South America and in Asia were he engaged in optimizing and designing supply chains through a leading a consultancy firm: CEL. His background spans over 3 roles: System engineer in major companies (Airbus, Peugeot Citroen, BAE Systems), Program Coordinator in conflict areas (NGO, World Food Program, High Commissioner for Refugees), Supply Chain Consultant in developing markets (CEL), Innovation & startup financing lead (EID), and community developer (Vietnam Supply Chain, French Tech). His Expertise spans over 3 areas: Supply Chain, Emerging Countries, Modeling & Optimisation. His current roles: Managing partner at CEL Consulting, Co-Founder of Vietnam Supply Chain, Chairman of EID a start-up accelerator in South East Asia, Board member of the French Chamber of Commerce & Industry in Vietnam. His vision lays in the reconciliation of 3 apparent contradictions: individual & collective interest, complexity & creativity, wealth generation & sustainable development.
