At Digital Catapult, UK's premier innovation lab, I lead SMEs and advise UK businesses in adopting and exploiting blockchain technologies to help them deliver cutting-edge and truly disruptive solutions. Current application domains include aviation, nuclear and construction. I also tutor on the Oxford University Blockchain Strategy Programme, where I provide expertise for senior and mid-level managers of companies and businesses. Prior to getting into the industry, as a computer scientist at Open University's Knowledge Media Institute I researched the use of blockchain protocols to address privacy in IoT systems, verify provenance of open datasets and investigated the use of blockchain as a tamperproof data recorder for drones. I hold a PhD in Software Engineering from The Open University and I have several years of experience working for large companies such as Accenture-Germany and Deutsche Post World Net.
