My mission, focus, and passion is on learning, education, skills, and the future of work and education. Our challenge globally is to upskill one billion people by 2030 and to champion lifelong learning for everyone so we can keep up with how quickly the world is changing. I'm the co-author of ''The Expertise Economy: How the smartest companies use learning to engage, compete and succeed,'' which focuses on the urgent need to upskill the workforce with the skills needed most for the future of work. I've been published in Harvard Business Review, MIT Sloane Management, Bloomberg, The Financial Times, Barron's, Forbes, Entrepreneur, and Fast Company among others. I advise on business, education, career, and culture strategies and consult with companies, start-ups, venture funds, non-profits, and universities around the world. I speak regularly at industry and business conferences on various topics including upskilling the workforce, the future of work, women in leadership, building a human-centered culture, and the future of education.
