Ensuring that our products are presented in the best possible way – that is what I do. To that end, I believe it is important to communicate with all stakeholders about the state of a game’s development, the ins-and-outs of game testing, and of course, the presentation and performance of our titles on all supported platforms. As a former games journalist, I have been involved in all kinds of public and industry press events, so speaking and presenting both online and in person has always been part of my job. During my time as QA Lead, I have given presentations at large events like Gamescom and our in-house FarmCon events, talking about our processes of testing both our own products and coordinating the release of user-generated content for the Farming Simulator series. Managing a QA team, writing up test plans and trying to innovate wherever possible in the company, were a part of my day-to-day life in QA. Currently, as a Release Coordinator, I am responsible for communicating with publishing platforms to ascertain that our products meet all requirements for a seamless publishing process from certifications to the final experience for our players. I have also given very successful talks at GDC and other international events and showcases. Outside the usual tasks in-house and even during my times at university beforehand, I got the chance to take create and take part in several publications and talks, including but not limited to: - Planning and delivering several in-house presentations for an international world-wide online audience such as FarmCon - Stage presentations at large-scale events such as gamescom for an international audience - Giving presentations to local audiences during public in-house events - Participating at international press events (Microsoft, Bethesda) to carry out interviews, produce vlogs and recordings (UK, Germany and more) - Planning and presenting product and feature videos for world-wide online distribution, explaining features of Farming Simulator and other products - Writing several published articles about games, focusing on interviews, reviews and other content creation - Taking part in countless online livestreams for a worldwide audience showcasing game features, deep dives and more
