Working at Solar, I get to do some cool stuff: I am heading the expansion and optimization of the Solar network of Central Warehouses. Success in this program is defined by timely execution of activities to fulfill a solid business case and is achieved in a cooperation between a ''hard''core team and the local management. As Business Owner, I am responsible for the strategic direction for and development of our functions taking care of inbound and outbound logistics. This starts by focusing on the basics; processes and relationship - and ends with optimizing the customer experience of last mile deliveries as well as focus on green logistics. I create winning teams that execute cross functional projects in Supply Chain and the whole Company. I am lucky to head business development activities and work closely with the IT organization as a Product Owner for the IT requests from Group Operations. I believe in the integrated supply chain, and strive for that vision every day. I enjoy working in the “butter-zone” between leading people and the – small and big – experiments and innovations that can lead to either success or a learning. I thrive when I can make every effort to cultivate a working environment where excellent teamwork and respect for people goes hand-in-hand with lots of “go-see”. I have +20 years of experience from Supply Chain and Logistics. The journey started in HST/Andreas Andresen (now Nagel Group) planning and following up on transport execution. After joining DSV, I held different roles within the domestic division, including management. At CostPartner I managed a team of highly qualified PMs and the portfolio of client projects. I have extensive experience with implementing LEAN as a business system and culture from my positions in Solar and DSV. I hold a diploma in Logistics and SCM from Aarhus University, where I continue returning to for studying and mentoring students.
