I am currently the Regional Director for WEConnect International, In this critical role, I am responsible for advancing the mission of WEConnect International in Africa by conducting outreach, establishing connections, and supporting our existing and new member buyer and women-owned businesses. Previously I was the Founder of the East Africa Chapter of 1Million Startups where I ran these initiatives: 1. 1Million Startups East Africa Chapter. We run the ELEVATE investment readiness accelerator for entrepreneurs looking to attract capital. This is a paced and practical program that accelerates the entrepreneur's talent, business scalability and impact to increase their attractiveness before investors. 2. Women Biz360 hub, a virtual women only Hub that develops their entrepreneurial leadership through our mindset shifting programs, financial literacy and wealth creation while bridging the technology gap for the women through our digital think tank. In my previous years in employment, I have had a track record of being a change agent. At KBC I was part of the team that set up the organization’s first ever IT department that spearheaded digital transformation. At Britam, I was responsible to set up IT service delivery in their 30 branches across Kenya that wasn’t there, managing the team and all the IT service delivery projects running in Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda. #Tech lover with 10 years experience in (IT service delivery, software development and business process re-engineering) passionate about enterprise development and entrepreneurs themselves. I have been a Lead Trainer and Coach on export market readiness for women entrepreneurs looking to export their products and services under the International Trade Centre SheTrades Commonwealth program that had 1000 women in IT/BPO, Tourism, Agribusiness and Textile&Apparel services. I also developed digital marketing curriculum for WOBs in Tourism. Fellow of the Prestigious Launch&Grow program by Women for Africa& Santander Bank Program at Babson Executive College. I am also a FEBA/Enpact Fellow for women enabling tech initiatives for women in Africa 2019.
