Experienced business and marketing leader. Currently CMO of the sub-saharan Africa region for PepsiCo, building out capability within the post acquisition business model. Previously VP Groceries (Business Executive Groceries) with P&L responsibility for the Cereals (Bokomo, Weet-Bix, ProNutro), Foods (Wellingtons, Safari, Moirs) and Beverages (LiquiFruit, Ceres, Fruitree) portfolio within legacy Pioneer. Previously lectured Business Science students at the University of Cape Town for 6 years, and continue to do work as an associate at UCT's Liberty Institute of Strategic Marketing. Also previously facilitated Strategic Marketing at the University of Stellenbosch Business School (Executive Development). Between 2009 and 2015 consulted widely in the area of strategy and strategy marketing. Prior to that I held senior positions in various local and multinational businesses in the retail, advertising and FMCG sectors, in commercial, marketing and general management roles, including BBDO, Pepkor, I&J and Unilever.
