Resilient leader. professional speaker, corporate trainer and engaging facilitator. In the last few years I have completed my Doctorate in Organizational Leadership, just about finished raising my three wonderful children and have laid both of my parents to rest… all while providing for my family as an active talent development professional and Founder of the Workplace Learning & Performance Group. Life has been crazy, full, exhausting and exhilarating at the same time - and has truly tested my personal resilience. My passion is to teach individuals and organizations how to be more resilient. I absolutely believe that we can bolster our strength through better leadership, communication and building strong diverse teams. I work with business leaders in Fortune 50 organizations and non-profit associations as well as local businesses in San Diego. I am excited to be developing new content, programs and services to offer our clients. My most recent book was published in Feb 2020 and is prophetically titled ''A Year of Resilience''... I had no idea how timely this book would be! My other books include Communication Skills Training (ASTD Press, 2005 & 2015), 101 Ideas for an Influential Presentation (Learniappe, 2014), Successful Staffing in a Diverse Workplace (1995), and I am actively writing my next book called Stay Afloat! – Six Steps for Building Career Resilience.
