Most recently Nancy served as CEO and President of Old Navy, from March 2020 through April 2022, growing the business from $8B to $9B during this time. Nancy attracted world class talent and built a leadership team to establish a multi-year product, digital and operations transformation strategy, while accelerating product innovation and brand purpose storytelling. Nancy inspired and motivated teams through a challenging and complex business environment during the global pandemic and supply chain crises.

Previously Nancy served as CEO and President of Athleta. During her tenure, she built a team to reposition and transform the brand as well as launch new categories, while scaling the business from $250M to nearly $1B in revenue with significant earnings expansion. This created one of the most unique and powerful Women's and Girl's brands in the industry, resulting in a significant asset and value creator for Gap, Inc. Nancy led Athleta to achieve B Corp Certification in Q1 2018, which recognizes businesses that meet the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability to balance profit and purpose. Prior to that, she served as CEO of Shabby Chic, ran the Pottery Barn brand at Williams Sonoma, and held multiple executive roles at Old Navy and Gap during their years of early growth and expansion.

Nancy serves on multiple boards including Allbirds and the National Retail Federation. Additionally Nancy is a Senior Advisor at the UC Berkeley, Haas Center for Equity Gender and Leadership.
