Bio

My current role as the Vice President of Engineering at Aercoustics let’s me manage an amazing team of associates, project engineers and junior staff. As a proven leader, I believe that growing a business doesn’t mean just growing a sector, it means growing people. I direct and provide oversight to the development of the engineering teams, procedures and practices that ensure programs align with Aercoustics’ goals. As an owner of Aercoustics, member of the board, and part of the leadership, I contribute to the long-term vision of the organization and guide the translation of that long-term vision into an executable engineering strategy & KPIs for the team. I manage the budgeting, cost allocation, and hiring roadmap of the technical organization and am accountable for continually communicating changes to the engineering team. My project experience has covered the scale of engineering services, from small residential developments to large-scale city-spanning developments, to international projects with multinational partners. My project experience has allowed me to be a strong communicator both within the Engineering Team and when collaborating with the broader teams & clients. Over the last 15 years, I have been privileged to have been a part of several exciting projects. Most notable for me have been the Queen’s Medical Building, The Vaughn Metro Centre redevelopment, and currently under construction - Canada’s first super-tall residential tower – The One. I have a passion for the engineering profession and continue to volunteer with many associations to promote and improve Engineering.
