Petrina is responsible for shaping Equinix’s connected autonomous vehicles and smart transport strategy, including integrating emerging technologies that include IoT, cloud technologies, 5G, AI and complex data sharing. The global role is focused around new ecosystem discovery and curation, pursuit strategy & customer engagement, which covers research into the application of emerging technologies within industry segments and technology partner alignment. Petrina has held a number of positions in Equinix since joining in 2000 including VP of Vertical Marketing, VP of Business Development and has also lead on strategic projects (M&A activities, EMEA Cloud Acceleration Project Lead, Strategic Alliances GTM programs, etc.) Petrina is a supporter of STEM, part of Equinix’s councils, Women Leadership Network (EWLN) and InterAsian Community (iAC) and is an active member in a number of associations across industries (5GAA, AECC, CIONET Innovation Council). She also currently holds an advisory board role at Alefedge. Experience in Enterprise & Service Provider Digital Transformation and Change Mgmt. 20+ years in advising on global colocation deployment, leveraging a wide range of inter-connectivity providers & building customized hosting of critical IT infrastructure. Defining Vertical Markets strategy, positioning & GTM pursuits - specializing in solution infrastructure offerings for Financial Markets, Cloud/MSPs/SIs, Content & Digital Media, Networks & Interconnection as well as Enterprise. Experience in creating of inorganic opportunities that increase interconnection or ecosystem strength. International alliances & affiliate partners, referrals & resellers. Channel and relationship building with key strategic partners. Market experience and links into AsiaPac, US & EMEA.
