Glad to be back at Henley Homes after an enjoyable and beneficial 22 months at L&Q . I have only worked for 3 companies in 20 plus years in development. Due to the smaller/medium company roles I have been thankfully exposed to a whole range of disciplines. I have led on land transactions as well as heading up sales and marketing, I also then took on the role of lead in planning applications with very successful results such as Baylis Old School, Annie McCall , Brent House, Barnes Village, Stewarts Lodge. I have a competent understanding of construction, so gained a unique education in the industry & acquired a multi disciplined skill set. Land at Director level , development and planning/Sales at Director level, hands on design, and value engineering, site optimisation. With L&Q had successful Masterplanning & Strat land experience working with LB Redbridge in particular in land assembly and masterplan of a 23 hectare site as well as a Ilford town centre complex proposals for mixed use development. In terms of sales - I have been fully involved at both Henley & Lynton, have an established contact list across the whole of London and further afield that has benefitted us in our sales successes over the years. My personal goal is to always be willing too learn, listen, & develop, use my years of experience to develop others - those that are willing to learn of course! I have been fortunate to have been allowed to shine, to lead on some key iconic developments. At my time at L&Q was allowed to pick up some dormant sites and was able to improve these scheme dramatically including masterplans for land that incorporated residential and educational tenures, working closely with the local borough who were land owners as well as private land owners to realize the combined site potential . Proud to have worked with some great architectural practices such as Allies & Morrison, Sheppard Robson, Levitt Bernstein, Conran, Pollard Thomas Edwards, Assael, Formation, Dexter Moren, Chassay Studios to name a few. I hope my colourful, unusual and broad role and experience will help inspire, create and hopefully assist others to seek a broad education by exposing themselves to other disciplines that will help them develop, acquire multi disciplined skills that will help them in the industry competitive job market. I am a completely dedicated employee and ambassador for whoever I have worked for and this industry is demanding, long hours and sacrifices made, however above all to be a good Father rates above all these , but I like to think I may be ok on that score.
