Rick is a senior executive with over 20 years of experience in analytics platform development, enterprise architecture and software development, as well as advanced data visualization and reporting. Rick currently focuses on transformational analytics and data science projects across fortune 500 clients. Rick has specific expertise in using scalable storage architectures (e.g. Hadoop/ HDFS) to create flexible and powerful analytics platforms that integrate large volumes of structured and unstructured data sets to gain meaningful and actionable business insights. Rick has worked with many clients to create analytical applications that are capable of predicting sales and marketing trends, search large volumes of data, perform large-scale image analysis, and optimize supply chains. Rick holds an MBA and an MS from the University of Maryland as well as a BS in computer science.
