Roland is a Principal in the People Advisory Services practice of Ernst & Young LLP. He has more than 24 years experience, both in industry and management consulting, focusing on transformation and change management, business model changes (e.g.. shared services and business process outsourcing), as well as other areas of people and HR functional strategy, including organization design, talent management and learning. Before joining E&Y he was a Principal with Capgemini's People and Performance practice. Roland joined Capgemini from IBM and PwC where his career spanned 12 years. He was an Associate Partner in the Strategy and Transformation practice and led the People and Organization consulting practice for the Telco, Media and Energy sectors in North America. Prior to his consulting career, Roland spent 9 years in a variety of HR and OD positions for organizations in the automotive and textile industries. He led multi-employer negotiations in the textile industry and lectured on Industrial Relations for the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in South Africa..
