Roy Grossberg is AstraZeneca's Head of Digital Patient Solutions where he leads the development of SaMD (and others) digital products. Prior to joining AZ Roy was a member of Boston Consulting Group Digital Ventures in San Francisco and co-led BCG DV’s engineering cohort in North America. In that role, Roy led ventures to identify and realize disruptive digital experiences, platforms and capabilities, delivering competitive advantage and outsized returns for corporate partners. The focus of his work is driving technology based innovation and business transformation across healthcare, fintech and industrial good verticals. Prior to joining BCG DV, Roy led the product and engineering groups for Everyone Counts, where he was focused on developing a secure online voting system. Under his leadership the company rolled several high profile election campaigns and gained significant market share. Prior to that, Roy was the Founder and CEO for a wellness startup build a voice enabled weight management solutions. Roy started his career as a software engineer and split his time between startups and large companies. He has expertise in machine learning, NLP, AI, Strategy, Innovation management and behavior change. Roy holds an MBA and BSc in Computer Science.
