Building Hamu Legal. Over a decade of experience in corporate and commercial law, interested in the intersection of emerging tech and National Security in Nigeria. I am the Managing Partner of a boutique law firm in Nigeria called ‘Hamu Legal’. At Hamu Legal, we are a tight-knit team of solution providers, leveraging innovation in our commitment to becoming an incubation hub for the next generation of lawyers and start-ups globally. In my role as Managing Partner, I co-ordinate a team of six lawyers and also manage a portfolio of emerging companies that are challenging the status quo, and finding innovative solutions to everyday problems. I bring ample experience in: - regulatory compliance and corporate governance – information and data privacy- GDPR, CCPA, NDPR, corporate transaction, cyber security and across the intersection of tech and policy. My experience and expertise in diverse legal matters including banking, project finance, energy, the ability to build and manage teams continues to set me apart. I am looking for like-minded, solutions-oriented clients that need guidance on how to navigate emerging markets to wit: regulatory and governance challenges of starting and scaling a successful, and regulatory compliant business.
