I am a senior UK qualified projects energy commercial and regulatory/compliance lawyer in the energy sector. I advise governments, regulators, public bodies,corporations (including utilities) and financial institutions. My experience includes a seven month secondment to Smartest Energy, a three month secondment to British Energy, and a nine month secondment to the Northern Ireland electricity regulator (OFREG) - where I advised senior management and key decision makers in the commercial teams of these organisations. I advise on the full range of projects and transactions within the energy sector and renewable energy sector and on district heating projects (including advising on various ESCO services agreements, power purchase agreements (including sleeved PPAs), green gas sleeved arrangements, and heat services contracts/arrangements. I am also a part qualified Company Secretary (with only one exam outstanding to be a fully ICSA qualified company secretary).
