I think of myself as a complex problem solver who is currently harnessing her over eight years experience and diverse skills to support emerging African countries develop relevant institutions to tackle unemployment and build competitive labour Market. Specifically, I am deeply passionate about building sustainable and scalable digital innovation, entrepreneurship and innovation programs/strategies/policies to propel economic growth in the region. With a current pan-African project portfolio of over USD 200, Million in digital innovation, higher education science and technology and entrepreneurship program ; I can boast of a rare combination of valuable professionals’ skills. I owe my deep design thinking, laser-focused strategy design and implementation, and formidable partnership/resource mobilization skills to the rich mix of diverse experience I have garnered over the years (please see my portfolio below to ascertain). My early career days as a customer service operator allowed me to develop deep people management and relationship building skills. This was closely followed by three years tour in two “Big Fours” -PwC and KPMG- where I advised on strategy, became a programmer and harnessed insights from complex data to inform customer business models. These invaluable experiences prepared me to navigate diverse sets of complex problems, and attack such challenges with professional rigour and depth in proffering cutting edge solutions. Lastly, the past four years at African Development Bank has been a melting point for all my experiences. It brings to life these experiences, to inform programs and operations that seek to address human capital challenges. By cementing these professional experiences with relevant academic and on the job training (in macroeconomic research, investment, project management and development finance training); I have become a rare mix of an individual that deeply understands and can seamlessly navigate large scale public and private sector program development in developed and developing contexts to deliver value.
