I am the CEO of BUX, an Amsterdam and London based fintech investment firm that is helping Europeans do more with their money. With more than 750,000 clients, BUX is Europe’s fastest-growing neo-broker. It’s my mission to empower everyone to build a better financial future through investing, which has never been more important. Many are facing unprecedented hardship with low interest rates, high inflation, and unstable pension systems. These macroeconomic factors are making the new generation of investors realise that investing is one of the few viable ways left to build a better financial future. At BUX, we’re the European neo-broker that offers commission-free investing without being dependent on kickbacks or payment for order flow (PFOF). This ensures that our interests are fully aligned with our customers. Since our hard launch of BUX Zero in January 2020, we have rolled-out our app, that lets you invest in ETFs, stocks, and crypto commission-free, to Netherlands, Germany, France, Austria, Belgium, Ireland, Spain, and Italy. In the upcoming year, we will introduce even more European countries to BUX Zero. My vision for BUX is that we’re not only building the tools that people need to start investing, but we’re making sure that people learn how to build up wealth for the future by educating them, and creating a tight knit community. We’re doing this by offering educational content and creating opportunities for our customers to engage with the BUX team - and with each other. Having successfully contributed to growing BUX from pre-live start-up to a fast growing scale-up, I feel very connected to the startup community. I’m also an angel investor and have been helping multiple early stage companies grow successfully.
